Cigna Healthspring is a world wide Medicare and Medicaid provider with a mission to provide personalized, affordable and easy-to-use health care solutions to seniors. Understanding that the people eligible for medicare will grow substantially within the next few years, the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer approached Accenture and Accomplice to form a digital strategy around the active, tech-savvy seniors who will be entering this stage. Working together we developed Spark, the first digitally enabled Medicare Advantage plan that would provide personalized end-to-end tools for seniors health care needs. We designed a brand and iOS app that would act, not only as a healthcare companion, but also a personalized tool for overall health management.
